Henry Downing Lane
Founder / Owner / Director / Head Tutor
Henry is a passionate educator with over 36 years experience in private and public education. His experience includes positions as Director of Studies, Assistant Headmaster, college counselor and English and history teacher at prestigious schools such as The Hill School, William Penn Charter School, Chestnut Hill Academy, Avon Old Farms, and Kents Hill School. He created Learning Core, LLC, a tutorial referral service in 1999 and started Tutoring Match in 2008. Jeanette Chagaris
Bookkeeper / Accountant / Math Tutor
Jeanette is a certified math teacher and tutor at middle school, high school and adult levels. She has Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Boston University and a Master's in Education from University of Bridgeport. Sarah Suerth
Biology Teacher / Tutor / Regional Director of the CT Shoreline
Sarah's responsibilities are to cultivate contacts and promote TM's tutorial services throughout the New Haven, East Haven, Branford, Guilford, Madison and Clinton areas. Sarah originally worked with Learning Core, LLC in 2005 as a biology tutor when she taught at Wilton High School in Wilton, Connecticut. Having recently moved to the Madison area, Sarah joined Learning Core, LLC, and Tutoring Match to help provide the Shoreline area with their extensive resources for students, parents and tutors. Susan Wholley
Office Coordinator / Tutor
Susan is a former elementary school teacher, and the mother of two wonderful girls. She received a B.A. in Education from The Pennsylvania State University and an M.S. in Elementary Education from Lehman College. Susan taught elementary school in both New York and Connecticut. Julia Balakrishnan
Office Coordinator
Julia is a "graduate" of Tutoring Match, having been successfully tutored by Henry for her SATs in 2005. Julia will graduate from the University of Delaware in May 2010 with a double major in International Business and Marketing, and a minor in Spanish studies. She works as an administrative assistant in the University of Delaware's Undergraduate Business Advising Office. Julia loves to travel; she lived overseas with her family for 13 years and studied abroad in Panama and Mexico throught the University of Delaware. Julia was a peer tutor in high school and volunteered at Bryant Elementary School in Bridgeport. Subsequently, she taught English in Panama and Mexico. |

Holly Rackliffe
Tutorial Coordinator
Holly is a certified English teacher at the middle school and high school levels. She received her BA in English from Biola University in California, and taught high school English for three and half years in the southern California area. While completing her education, she assisted in an English 100 class for college freshmen students at Biola University specializing in writing, and has experience in clerical work and office management at the college as well. Her zest for learning and making knowledge accessible for all learning types make her an asset to any educational center. |

Wade Tonken
Business Development
Wade has a long history as an entrepreneur with an unusual creative streak. Fresh out of music school he devoted himself to self promotion culminating in an award winning MTV video. He soon found his way into the world of commercial music and started the music production company Noize Factory where he used his musical talents as well as his business development skills. For nearly two decades he owned, developed, marketed and publicized Noize Factory. Recently he created the Manhattan Producers Alliance, a media education, professional mentoring and networking community comprised of Oscar, Grammy, Tony and Emmy award-winning composers and musicians. As head of business development and marketing Wade successfully forged relationships with Apple, Nickelodeon, BMI, Good Morning America, The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the Bank Street College. Wade also teaches music technology and has created many unique educational programs throughout the NYC metro area. |

Rita's responsibilities are to cultivate contacts and promote TM's tutorial services throughout the Westport, Weston, Norwalk and Fairfield areas. Rita has over 20 years of experience in marketing as well as10 years of experience as a tutor and teacher. |
